History Of The Heart Flag

                              "The Father's Love"

The inspiration of the heart flag came from the desire to design and produce a flag to represent "God's Love" and to show "His glory", coming straight from "His Throne Room."
It's full revelation was given by my friend Jeanne Williams.

Jeanne's words:
Recently, I listened to a teaching by Constance Fischer, an intercessory leader and teacher, on "The Ten Words and the Garments of the High Priest." The revelation and understanding about the URIM and THUMMIM are from her teaching.

The URIM and THUMMIM were part of the High Priest's breastplate of judgment, an article of clothing inset with stones inscribed with the names of twelve tribes of Israel. The breastplate was doubled in length so that it could be folded. Exodus 28:16 "You shall make a breastplate of judgment, in skilled work: like the workmanship of the ephod shall you make it, of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet (stuff) and of fine twined linen. "The URIM and THUMMIM were unspecified objects, possibly stones that were placed in the pouch over the High Priest's heart and used to get God's counsel for the nation and the king. Exodus 28:30 "in the breastplate of judgment you shall put the URIM and the THUMMIM: they shall be upon Aaron's heart when he goes in before Lord, and Aaron shall bear the judgment (rights, judicial decisions) of the Israelites upon his heart before the Lord continuously." In Judaism no one now really knows what the URIM and THUMMIM were. However, they were regarded by the rabbinic teachers as the "great and holy Name of God" (Jewish Encyclopedia) written on the breastplate over the High Priest's heart.

The Lord revealed to Constance that each of the garments of the High Priest represented one of the Ten Commandments given by God at Sinai. For example, the crown/gold plate on the High Priest's turban represents the first commandment: Exodus 20:3 "You shall have no other gods before or besides Me.)The URIM and THUMMIM corresponds to the third commandment: Exodus 20:7 "you shall not use or repeat the name of the Lord your god in vain for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain."

When I saw the beautiful banners, tabrets, billows and flags at your apartment, I was drawn to the heart flags with the gold and white centers. I heard the Holy Spirit say the center represents the URIM and THUMMIM which was used to receive wisdom in the Tabernacle and Temple. URIM means "light" and THUMMIM means "perfections" signifying the revelation of a perfect and complete message from God to His people.

Constance pointed out the first Hebrew letter of URIM is alef and the first Hebrew letter of THUMMIM is tav, which are the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet. Jesus is known as the Alef and the Tav, the beginning and the end. The revelatory light of Father, came from heaven and reverberated through the URIM and ThUMMIM and then radiated through the twelve stones of the breastplate to bring a complete and perfect  message. How wonderful is our God! He placed a sign of Jesus' name on the breastplate of the High Priest!

In the New Testament the function of the URIM and THUMMIM was fulfilled through the coming of the Holy Spirit. The actual objects had been lost for many years, as there is no record of the URIM and
THUMMIM after Judah's exile. (Jewish Encyclopedia / URIM and THUMMIM "Post exillic Israel had neither the sacred breastplate nor the URIM and THUMMIM." When Jesus breathed upon the disciples after His resurrection they received the Holy Spirit by faith in Him and His name was written on their hearts. As the disciples gathered in the Upper Room after Jesus' ascension, they were directed to select a disciple to replace Judas, adding a twelfth man to their number.

On the Day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit was sent bringing the light of revelation coming from our High Priest in heaven to reverberate through the URIM and THUMMIM, the name of Jesus written on the hearts of the twelve apostles.   This revelation radiated through them as the twelve Living Stones bringing the complete message of the Gospel of the Kingdom. As believers we are also living stones carrying the light revelation of Father' heart coming from our great High Priest through Holy Spirit. I believe the Lord supernaturally gave you the center of the heart flags to express this WONDERFUL AND POWERFUL TRUTH.

In addition to the flags that have green surrounding the heart, this represents the Emerald Rainbow that surrounds the Throne Room of God.

THANK YOU LORD FOR ALL YOUR GOODNESS!
